Bladder Disease

For the past three years I’ve been trying to recover from a disease called interstitial cystitis, a painful bladder disease. I had been to numerous doctors, both specialists and naturopathic. My search for some relief led me to Dr. Go at the Bolles Clinic.

At this point in my life, I had become very discouraged. I could only eat a few things that would not give me too much bladder pain. I’ve had surgery, DMSO, treated for candidia and had all my mercury fillings removed from my teeth. After talking with Dr. Go, I remember telling her, "It doesn’t matter what I eat, I’m always in pain". She suggested we look at allergies. She sent me home to read the book "Say Goodbye to Illness". I was so astounded that so many diseases and conditions could be the result of allergies, that I immediately made an appointment to start the Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET). This is a safe non-toxic way to eliminate allergies for good. When I started treatment, I tested allergic to everything I had been eating. At that point I was only eating eggs, rice, vegetables and pears.

Dr. Go began with the basic ten, and as we went along I began to notice that my body had a way of telling me when I came into contact with an item which I was allergic to. I would begin to have bladder pain and bowel problems. The first time it happened was when I noticed cotton clothing was bothering me. Sure enough, I was allergic to cotton. As we went along, by eating only things I knew I was no longer allergic to, I noticed that environmental and inhalants were playing a big part in my continued pain. It wasn’t until I had been cleared of about 25 allergies, most inhalants, that I started to notice a big improvement, but what a wonderful feeling it has been to feel like I’m getting back my normal life. I don’t know what the magic number of allergies that I have, but I think I have been successfully cleared of so many, because I’m very careful of what goes into my mouth , and I have worked at eliminating toxins and mercury from my system.

Over the last three years, I’ve discovered that it doesn’t seem like it is just one thing, but a combination of things that result in a chronic condition. I had to make a commitment to myself to discover how to fix it, with Dr. Go’s help and NAET, I have finally made that discovery.
