Chelation Therapy |
|
Chelation therapy is one of the most popular treatments offered
at the Bolles Clinic. Perhaps chelation’s popularity can be
attributed to the fact that it gets dramatic results. In clinical
data collected from the records of over 50,000 patients receiving
chelation treatments, 75% of the cases indicated that they had good
to excellent results. In Dr. Bolles and Dr. Go’s over thirty-five
years of combined experience treating patients with chelation
therapy, they have seen remarkable results in their patients.
Chelation therapy uses an amino acid called ethylene diamine
tetraacetic acid (EDTA). EDTA chelates—or wraps itself around—toxic
metals at the molecular level, turning insoluble metals into a
soluble form that the body can excrete through the kidneys. This
process has many beneficial effects on the body including relief
from medical problems such as heavy metal toxicity, arteriosclerosis
(hardened arteries), circulation problems, angina, high blood
pressure, cardiovascular disease, and carotid insufficiency.
Chelation therapy can also contribute to improvements in conditions
resulting from blocked circulation such as stroke, diabetes, kidney
disorders, senility, thyroid and adrenal disturbances, emphysema,
Parkinson’s disease, bursitis, and arthritis.
Chelation is effective for treating arteriosclerosis and the
problems associated with it because EDTA binds with ionic calcium.
Ionic calcium is different from the calcium in your

Success Stories
"Ten years ago, I had a heart attack. My
cardiologist said I needed a triple bypass operation. Instead,
I went to The Bolles Clinic and after twenty chelation therapy
treatments, my cardiologist said I was in the 90th
percentile for my age group, and he didn’t want to see me for
a year. Dr. Bolles saved me money and maybe my life."

"When I came to The Bolles Clinic in July of
1984, I was literally dying on my feet. I had had a heart
attack and been diagnosed at Virginia Mason Hospital with
arteriosclerosis, and without bypass surgery, I would not
live. However, I found The Bolles Clinic. They started
chelation treatment and recommended other remedies and,
consequently, without bypass surgery, I still live."

Women’s Hormonal Health
Assessment
|
|
The Women’s Hormonal Health Assessment is a
relatively new test offered through the Bolles Clinic that can detect levels
of the most complete array of women’s hormones.
This blood test is a great preventative tool
because it can detect hormone imbalances that have been linked to
women’s health problems. Spotting these imbalances early allows your doctor to
develop a personalized health regimen that can correct your hormone
levels and deflect future problems.
Some of the conditions associated with hormone imbalances are
emotional problems, depression, erratic behavior, |
poor cognition, heart disease, excessive bone loss, autoimmune
disorders, and female cancers.
One of the most important measurements included in the Women’s
Hormonal Health Assessment is the ratio of estrogen metabolites
2-hydroxyestrone and 16a-hydroxyestrone. These are two of the forms
that estrogen breaks down
into as the body metabolizes it. They have similar pathways, and
estrogen’s conversion to one or the other can be affected by several
factors.
Exercise, soy and flax intake, and other beneficial nutrients can
promote a
