A. Along with the suggestions you’ll find throughout this newsletter, Vitamin C and H2O2 IVs are very helpful for strengthening the immune system. They will also dramatically improve recovery time for individuals suffering from cold or flu.
A. Unlike humans, most plants and animals are capable of producing their own supplies of ascorbic acid (vitamin C). This ability gives such animals a heightened resistance to infection compared to human beings. When a virus invades the body of a vitamin C-producing mammal, the animal’s body responds by increasing vitamin C production. Vitamin C experts such as Irwin Stone and Linus Pauling have hypothesized that humans suffer from a genetic defect that prevents us from producing vitamin C in our livers the way that many animals do. It is not unusual for a fair sized animal to produce 10 or more grams of vitamin C in their liver per day. Yet, the daily recommended value for vitamin C intake established by the FDA is 60 mg. I do not believe that this amount is adequate for good health. We know that with no vitamin C, a human will die. Looking at the vitamin C production levels in animals and adjusting for the needs of a human suggests that our daily vitamin C needs are 2-15 or more grams (2,000 to 15,000 mg), depending on the amount of stress a person is experiencing. Higher levels of stress create an even greater need for vitamin C. It’s nearly impossible to get this amount of vitamin C from a healthy diet without supplementation.

Vitamin C is most successful when taken as a cold and flu preventative. Having vitamin C in your blood stream at the time of exposure to a virus can keep you from getting sick. However, low doses of vitamin C, 100 milligrams or less per day, are not adequate to provide protection against viral attacks.
A. Vitamin C has powerful, wide-spectrum, natural anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. It attacks and renders inactive viruses and bacteria that it comes in contact with. Unlike antibiotics, it has little or no negative effects on the body. Vitamin C also detoxifies many of the toxins produced by bacteria. Vitamin C allows white blood cells to attack bacteria. When no vitamin C is present in the blood, white blood cells will not perform their immune function.
A. Taken intravenously, H2O2 stimulates the body’s enzyme systems to oxygenate the blood and tissues. The increased oxygen works powerfully to fight infection. Most patients suffering from acute flu or other upper respiratory infections report feeling 90% better one day after the treatment, and 100% better on the second day.
A. H2O2 is especially beneficial for alleviating diseases associated with autoimmune antibodies, such as allergies, Ebstein-Barr virus (chronic fatigue), candida, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and Sclerodermia. Initially, H2O2 reduces the body’s supply of B- and T-cells, the cells responsible for identifying invaders and producing antibodies to attack the antigen. The body responds by increasing production of B- and T-cells, resulting in a greater number than prior to the H2O2 treatment. With this dying off and reproduction of B- and T-cells comes a reduction in immune globulins that cause the negative symptoms associated with allergies and other autoimmune disorders.
A. Both types of IVs are very safe. Both are natural substances that have been administered safely for many years with little to no serious side effects. Though high doses of vitamin C can irritate the stomach when taken orally, taken intravenously, it has no toxic effects associated with it, so overdose is of little concern. | ||
